Personalized Placement Kits
Oftentimes kids come to a new foster placement with very few belongings and just as often, foster parents have very little time to prepare for a placement to come. We LOVE to find out about placements immediately so we can go buy necessity items & drop them off on the porch of the foster home in Kansas City!
Our placement kits are specific to the size, age, gender and needs of the child. This could be clothing, pjs, sheets, mattress pads, a custom quilt made by our friends at Eagle Creek Church, a baby blanket made by Mary Denman, personal hygiene products, a Bible, or a special toy. Backpacks, duffle bags, or a small piece of luggage are always included. We have basic kits with a bit of everything, but love to connect with the foster family if possible so the kit can be as personalized as possible.
